I have this cassette by Tony Robbins, on which hes selling one of his seminars. At one point he says: "There is a major Fortune 500 corporation, and the man who is the CEO of that company is a gentleman who started out dirt poor, without the education, without the background, and now hes running one of the most successful companies on Earth. Were going to find out what exactly his core beliefs are." Who is this man, and what are those core beliefs? |

Markabe - It is only a bet, but being a Holocaust child, George Soros did not exactly had a happy camper childhood, and his business philosophy is very interesting (though not what I'd expect Tony Robbins to put as an example). |

There are many such Horatio Alger stories. Check out the Horatio Alger Foundation's Web site at www.horatioalger.com. I don't know if Wendy's is in the Fortune 500, but the late Dave Thomas was a high school dropout. |
