We have set up a windows 2000 domain.

The problem we are having is that when we add a Group Policy object to
a container, the policy isnt being applied when a user inside that
container logs on to a workstation - but they can still log on fine.

If the same user logs on at the server, the policy IS applied
correctly.

I have no doubt that more info will be required, event logs and so on,
but where do we start? All wks are W2K and the DC is running in native
mode - its also the only DC on the network.
