The CYP 1A1 & 1A2 iso-enzymes mediate the sysnthesis of the
onco-protective 2-(OH) estrone & estradiol (and their methoxy
metabolites). The CYP 3A4 & 1B1 mediate the synthesis of the
onco-toxic 16-(OH) estrone & estradiol (and their methoxy
metabolites). I need some studies proving that TFAs down-regulate CYP
1A1 & 1A2, and up-regulate CYP 3A4 & 1B1.
