It has been prudent to analyze decissions for at least 50,000 years,
so the inventor is unkown. Quantitative methods have also been used
for at least 50,000 years. We need to learn from our mistakes and
detail what we did when we have success. For most purposes, both
quantitative and qualitative are useful.  Neil
