Question ID: 209846
I have a snapshot of my mother-in-law that she just loves.
Unfortunatley, there are some people in the backround. My Photoshop
skills are not yet developed enough to remove them. Is there a
professional service that will allow me to e-mail them the photo, fix
it, and e-mail it back to me for a cost? I am will to pay a resonable
price for the retouching. It is a 1.2MB file. Thanks, RileyBirder

Hi rileybirder!!

There are several companies that bring the service that you need and
the prices varies depending on the results quality offer and/or
required. Most of this companies prefer to work with the original
(without modify it, they work with not on the original) instead of to
receive large files by e-mail, but several let you upload your files;
other companies when work with digital files they prefer to receive a
disk or a CD with the files.

SRS Digital Photo Re-touching Service:

"Here's how it works.............
You email your digital photo's to us in any of your basic graphic
formats such as jpg, gif, tif, pic, bmp, etc. and a short description
of what you would like to see done to your photo. We evaluate the
photo, send you an EXACT dollar amount it will cost to re-touch by
email. You either say ok, or no. If you say ok, the work is performed
and HALF of the completed image is returned to you. At this point you
still are under no obligation to pay anything. If you like the
results, you pay the fee and the COMPLETE photo is returned to you via
email. At this time conventional mail is the only method for payment
to be made, but this will probably change shortly. Once you become a
customer though it will be possible to receive your photos immediately
with just your word that you will be good for payment."

It appears to be the cheapest service.

This was just what I was looking for. I also appreciate pink's
suggestion. I would like to take advantage of working with a ga
researcher on this if I could as I have much respect for you people.
Can I make a link from the question screen to the photo. Also, I want
to pay what's right. How do I judge this? Like I would a question,
what it's worth to me and how much work I think it will be?
Thanks again.

Another option is to seek assistance right here in GA.

There are several Google Answers Researchers (myself among them) who
are good with Photoshop. If you'd like to post a new question, giving
a link to a digital image, I'm sure one of us could alter it to your
satisfaction.
