Yes i would exept english based merchants, the only problem is the
system cost about £3300 in England, and i found a company in America
called VERTIGO who would ship to England and the system would work on
230/240 volts for £1800. They would only exept a wire transation and i
don't like paying that way i want to pay with an English credit card

Hi,

I've looked around quite a bit for this system, the sites I've found
don't let you ship to the UK normally, but if you call them, they
might agree to do so for you (I have done this in the past).

Please take into account that HM customs will add another 20% or so to
anything you order from out of the EU. Add to that the fact that the
Bose voltage changer is $600 and the shipping, the deal doesn't seem
as good anymore. You should be able to find a voltage transformer at
Maplin or RS Components for less than that, which would convert UK
voltages to US voltages.

I suggest you try: http://clients.mapquest.com/bose/mqlocator?link=uk_find
and search for a Bose dealer near to your location, and call up a few
shops, see what prices they can offer you and then get them to
pricematch each other.

Please let me know if you consider this an acceptable answer.
