I agree with Skermit. I have no idea of what Asian country you are speaking of but there are places in the world that are so bad, people are willing to say or do most anything to get away from there. If they moved to the US and built their fortune by honest means, then more power to them. I would not help anybody try to take it away from them. digs |

It should also be noted that lying on a federal document such as a visa application carries severe penalties, ($10,000 fine and imprisonment, I think), but I doubt the government would have any claim to monies earned while here illegally, assuming the taxes on these earnings were paid in full. If so inclined, they could probably freeze your assets, at least temporarily. Possibly people that had business transactions with them may have a claim that contracts entered into are not valid, considering they were based on one's claim that they were a citizen, which they were not. I'm no lawyer, but it seems possible. |
