Greetings Latte:

I performed a search at Google Images for Mayiladuturai and it
resulted in these images:

http://images.google.com/images?q=Mayiladuturai&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en

From there, I visited the site referenced in some photos as
http://www.templenet.com and found that site to contain many, many
temple images and ones of large size. See the left hand column for
links to various temple sites. They are listed as:

Temples of Tamilnadu
Temples of Kerala
Temples of Karnataka
Temples of Andhra Pradesh
Temples of Orissa
Temples of Central India
Temples of Maharashtra
Temples of Western India
Temples of the Himalayas
Temples of the Gangetic Plains
Temples of North Eastern India
Temples of Bengal

The photos on the text pages are much larger when viewed directly as
the uploaded .jpg files. To see the temple pictures away from the
text page, I right-clicked on the photos and chose "Properties" to see
the direct URL to the photo. Then I copied and pasted the URL into my
browser and went directly to the picture file. The links below are
first the site page presentation of the first temple picture on the
page and then the URLs that lead straight to photographs follow.
These examples will give you an idea of the true picture size:

View the image at http://www.templenet.com/Western/modhera.html
then at http://www.templenet.com/Western/modhera.jpg

View the image at http://www.templenet.com/maharashtra.html
then at http://www.templenet.com/Maharashtra/ell3.jpg

View the image at http://www.templenet.com/andhra.html
then at http://www.templenet.com/Andhra/alampur.jpg

You'll be able to access the largest examples by finding the URL to
the photo in the Properties and then going to each image directly.
It's quite a comprehensive site and very easy to navigate. I've
already bookmarked it to return soon. :) Should you require any
clarification of the links or information I have provided, please
request it and I will be happy to respond.

Namaste,
journalist-ga
