Hello,

I'm interested in finding out if there are any technologies that
enable direct storing of copies of webpages onto microfilm/microfiche
etc.

In other words, I'm interest in finding out if I can install custom
software that would perhaps enable me to save a web page that I am
viewing on a browser directly to microfilm/microfiche. Of course, I
would be willing to install any software and hardware to enable this.
Please name the products and the vendors through whom such services
are available.

Thanks,
TVR

As a programmer I would say:

1) a microfilm printer/consumables/supplies would be an investment and
sort of a dying technology with web-based applications being easier
(we had quite a few mass microfilm -> web deploys)

2) if you do have #1, creating a program to grab URL's and the links
and then dumping them to the printer that outputs these would not be
hard at all. Of course this is sort of backwards of my experience
(taking microfilm and making web pages from them), but I would imagine
a microfilm printer is just a printer being told what to print.

It's an interesting concept though as I myself will be buying a film
reader mostly for car stuff, but there is alot on microfilm that makes
for interesting explorations :).
