I inherited a 15x27" oil painting on canvas that was purchased in Tel
Aviv in 1965. The artists signature is "SADE". The subject is a
rabbi blowing shofar and he is wearing a tallis and a yarmelke. The
subject is drawn from the mid-chest to the top of his head. The art
work is superb and the skin tones are life like. I once saw a
photograph of the painting in Hadassah Magazine in the early 1990's.
I know the artist died not long after the painting was purchased and
his son has a gallery in Safed, Israel. I would like to learn the
value of the painting and more information about the artist
