I chose a week time frame for many of my questions. Can I send clarifications for answers after the 1 week? What exactly happens at the end of the week? What ends and what is still available? Can I request a certain researcher? I would appreciate it if you could beyond my questions and answer any of the other questions that you've heard over and over about this service. I'll put a $ 75 price on this so that I can get a in-depth answer without having to go and research the site myself. Thank You, Joel |

Hello Joel1357-ga, Thank you for this question and for all your questions to Google Answers. For future reference, we recommend that you send all your questions about Google Answers to: answers-support@google.com. This way you will get the fastest, most thorough answers to Google-Answers-related questions - and the answers will be free. Essentially, we like to keep the Google Answers site focused on providing answers to 'real' questions from our customers and not focused on questions about 'us'. In brief answer to your questions above: After a question EXPIRES, an asker can still post an answer clarification, and responses to answer clarifications can also be posted. Comments can also still be posted. But, a new, original answer can no longer be posted after the question is expired, nor can a question clarification be posted by a researcher. If a question is CANCELLED by the asker, something different happens. Then no further activity whatsoever can be posted to a question - no comments, no clarifications of either the question or the answer, and, obviously, no answers. Right now, there is no way to formally request a specific researcher to work on a question on Google Answers. By browsing the site, you can see that some askers are attempting to draw the attention of a specific researcher to their question, with varied success. Sometimes other researchers on the site will honor the request, and sometimes not. Finally, there are many, many questions we receive about the service. They are too numerous to list and answer here. For more information and answers to frequent questions, please read the Google Answers FAQ at: https://answers.google.com/answers/faq.html We hope this helps. If there is anything that is not clear in this answer, please request an answer clarification or email us at answers-support@google.com. Thank you again for using Google Answers! You state that, "After a question EXPIRES, an asker can still post an answer clarification, and responses to answer clarifications can also be posted. Comments can also still be posted." In my experience, this isn't true. Here are links to expired questions on which no comment buttons appear: https://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=31203 https://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=34309 https://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=33949 It seems that unless someone posted an answer or comment before the expiration date, we can't add comments after the question has expired. Is this intentional? |

Well a question of mine which I had forgotten about having written months ago had a comment added by someone only a litle nwhile back quite unexpectadly and when i would have thought that any addition would have been impossible because access would have/should have expired by now; but apparently not |
