Law of the Sixteenth Section land. I need full explanations of the law
of the sixteenth section, its effect in Louisiana.

Can an individual acquire good title to land in the sixteenth section
so as to occupy it as his home/homestead?

Hello missbea--

I want a bit of a clarification, if I may.

You first say you need "full explanations" of the law. Then you go on
to ask a more specific question.

Would an answer to the second part of your question constitute an
answer to the full question. If not, could you please explain what you
mean by "full explanation"?

Thank you,

darrel-ga
