Would cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane be okay for send away
or must it be in Canberra?

I would very much prefer Canberra, but if that's not possible then a
professional, commercial low volume printer (ie I don't want to find a
printer that requires minimum 50 prints etc - I'll only need one at a
time) that is reliable may be ok. Reliable I mean as in consistent
results, good QA and good packaging!! :-)

Hello Cybersnoop,

In Canberra, Flash Photobition (www.flash.com.au) offers the
service you're looking for. Contact details,

A friend of mine used this service and was happy with it. According
to him, its the only worthwhile place in Canberra for this.

Have a good day.

It helps to mention things like "A friend used this service" ... makes
for a more reliable answer ... :-)

In Sydney, Tranny's (http://www.trannys.com.au/) offers a LightJet
service, but I have no information about whether they accept very low
volume work. Note that submitting work via email or Zip cartridges is
supported.

Also in Sydney, Bob Peters Imaging
(http://www.bobpeters.com.au/SCpages/BPI_SC03.htm) offers
a low volume LightJet service.

A commentator suggests
(http://members.ozemail.com.au/~fairskye/MaterialWorld.htm) that there
are only two LightJet machines in Australia capable of high resolution
work.

In Melbourne, Bond Imaging offers a Lambda service
(http://www.bondimaging.com.au/di_printing.htm). The Imaging Services
Group also offers a Lambda service
(http://www.imaging.com.au/imaging/im_06printandproof.php), as does
ImageBox (http://www.imagebox.com.au/).

In Sydney, Pixel Perfect, "the Finest Digital Photographic Lab on
Planet Earth?", offers a Lambda service, including FTP upload. See
http://www.pixelperfect.com.au/.

In Brisbane, F stop offers Lambda prints, and does accept Zip
cartridges(http://www.fstoponline.com.au/l2.html).

In Canberra, Photobition appears to offer a digital imaging service
that may be of value to you
(http://chambermall.com.au/front-end/viewshop.phtml?shop_id=2638), but
they do not appear to have a web site.

I am not confident enough about this specialist subject to post this
as a definitive answer, but I do hope that it will be of assistance.

Yes you were of assistance. I'm now just following up a few of those
leads (In particular the Canberra one) to see if they actually will
meet my requirements. I'll let you know if I am successful with this.
Thanks in the meantime .. :-)

Oops...when I posted the answer, I didn't realize that there were
comments below. Sorry sa-ga. I didn't have any devilish intentions.
What makes it more painful is that you referred to the same site.
Sorry again
