Hi googel,
This floss holder is an interesting product. I have never
particularly liked flossing, so I don't do it as often as I should.
If there's a product that makes it easier, then I will certainly look
into it!
Here are my comments on your web page:
1. The "1 Tensioner can serve for 250 all-tooth flossings" text looks
odd slanted to the left, and it is somewhat difficult to read.
2. Why do you have question marks around the "6-pack = $3.33" text?
3. I think it would be better if you moved the "DIRECTIONS FOR
(FLAT/POCKET) FLOSS TENSIONER" text below the box that shows the
credit card and the 'Explanations' box. Those two boxes don't provide
any directions; they just describe the product.
4. The 'hints' box may be confusing, as the images (which are in no
particular order) and text are separate from each other. Which image
corresponds to which step? I think it would be better if you had more
images (taken from the animation) and arranged them vertically on the
left side. Then you could provide a text description to the right of
each image. This would let the user know what each step is supposed
to look like.
5. The 'Start 1' animation is a bit confusing. What exactly are you
trying to do in the first 12 frames? Do you want the user to tie a
knot by using the holder? It may be easier to tie a knot without
using the holder. The animation seems to be too detailed in some
areas (there are 14 frames devoted to the simple task of tying a knot)
and not detailed enough in other areas (there are only 5 frames
devoted to the more important task of winding the floss around the
holder). It also isn't clear how you go from the third-to-last frame
to the second-to-last frame (that image is poor because it looks like
the holder has 3 prongs). It may be better if those images showed
what the user's hands should be doing.
I hope my comments are helpful, and I wish you the best of luck!
