What is the rate of home appreciation on lakeshore property along Lake Michigan
in southwest Michigan over the last 10 years? The area is
sometimes referred to as "Harbor Country" and includes towns such as
New Buffalo, Benton Harbor, Saugatuck, etc.

Hi there,

I have detailed data for Benton Harbor back to the mid-1980s. But it
is not specific to the properties right on the lakeshore. Rather, it
is information for the entire town of Benton Harbor.

Would this meet your needs?

That would be helpful, but by itself it doesn't get at the submarket.
How about also getting appreciation for "vacation homes" or "second
homes" anywhere in the greater Chicagoland market?

I haven't seen any submarket info like that, but perhaps another
researcher will be able to track it down. Good luck.
