Are there any .PHP programming classes available in the Detroit area in-person
or online(where and for how much)? 

I would love to find a free or very affordable "community education" based .php
class if any are available. The classes should teach "real world" web
development uses for .PHP programming, and not just .PHP "origins and theory."

assist you in finding PHP training in the Detroit area.  Unfortunately, I could 
not find any PHP courses through the local universities or colleges.  However, 
for future reference, Macomb Community College does offer courses in HTML,
