Hello beckdev-ga,

I can provide you with the number of currently licensed California
contractors.

Are you looking for how many of those currently licensed have been
licensed since 1993 or before? Or, are you looking for how many
licenses were issued in California on or before 1993?

Hello beckdev-ga,

Thank you for the clarification. I have not yet been able to find
that information. I have written an e-mail to a California government
department, which may have this information. I will likely not get a
response before Monday.

In the meantime, your question will remain available for other
researchers to work on.

Hello beckdev-ga,

I haven’t been able to find the number of currently licensed
contractors in California that have been licensed since 1993 or
before.

You can find the total number of currently licensed contractors in
California at the Contractors State License Board
http://www.cslb.ca.gov/about/qckfcts.asp
“284,000 licensed contractors in California”

Good luck with your search.
