I am building such a website. It should be ready in a couple weeks,
just working out the kinks. Its a book exchange site, not unlike
others, and I also provide a book price comparison, and if students
buy from the link, I make a commission.

1) what are some good ideas to build traffic for this particular
market and business?

2) what are the relevant statistics about the market (i.e. how many
people actually buy books online versus the campus bookstore, how much
they spend)

3) what are realistic amounts one could expect from running an
affiliate program from the bookstores(not necessarily a college
market, but in general, preferably related to books)
