I want to purchase the actual yellow pages that are delivered to
people's homes in every "city" with a population of more than 250,000
people for the following countries (I have listed their general
location to help out): Burundi: Central Africa, Chad: Central Africa,
Rwanda: Central
Africa, Zaire: Central Africa (Currently called Democratic Republic of
the
Congo), Central African Republic: Central Africa, Djibouti: Eastern
Africa,
Ethiopia: Eastern Africa, Seychelles: Eastern Africa, Somalia: Eastern
Africa,
Uganda: Eastern Africa, São Tomé and Príncipe: Western Africa. I am
not interested in the online yellow pages, commercial directories,
import/export directories etc. What I need are the name of the
companies or agencies that distributes them, along with a contact name
and phone number. Email addresses, websites, costs, and weights would
be nice but are not required. This will allow me to contact each of
them and provide payment and shipping instructions.

pages. Most of these African nations have a nationalized monopoly

Zaire (Democratic Republic of the Congo)
The Democratic Republic of the Congo does claim 20,000 telephones, and
a nationalized telephone company, however, after years of civil war,
they have very little telecommunication infrastructure and therefore
almost local information available online. I'm not able to track this
one down. Perhaps another searcher, or a site member from the region
would have better luck. The telephone company name is: Société de
Télécommunications du Congo (SOTELCO).
