I want to purchase the actual yellow pages that are delivered to
people's homes in every "city" with a population of more than 250,000
people for the following countries (I have listed their general
location to help out): Algeria: Northern Africa, Egypt: Northern
Africa, Mauritania:
Northern Africa, Tunisia: Northern Africa, Western Sahara: Northern
Africa,
Botswana: Southern Africa, Lesotho: Southern Africa, Madagascar:
Southern Africa, Malawi: Southern Africa, Mauritius: Southern Africa,
Niger: Western Africa. I am not interested in the online yellow pages,
commercial directories, import/export directories etc. What I need are
the name of the companies or agencies that distributes them, along
with a contact name and phone number. Email addresses, websites,
costs, and weights would be nice but are not required. This will allow
me to contact each of them and provide payment and shipping
instructions.

As Rainbow-ga already suggested in the comment below, most of the
countries on your list do not have any kind of printed Yellow Pages,
I’m afraid. Nevertheless, I managed to find out the very, very few

only. I am very sorry I can’t provide you more positive information,
but as it seems, telecommunication services are still extremely
underdeveloped in most parts of the African continent.

locate the phone books for all these countries.  Do you have any words
of advice on how to pursue these books?  Should I call each of the

Since the structures of telecommunications are very diverse in those
countries, I have problems providing you general advice. But I have

I seriously doubt many of these countries even have Yellow Pages or
even a White Page Directory. I live in Lebanon and we're considered
one of the most modern countries in this part of the world. We only
started receiving telephone directories about 5 years ago.

Hi,

Algeria had its own white/yellow pages for decades. It's distributed
by the telecom ministry  to phone subscribers.
There is also a new private company that publish and "sells" its own 
yellow pages. You may ask the Chamber of Commerce in Algiers
for the correct information
