Fact:
A 60 year old man, has had one 20/20 eye (right), and one 20/35 eye
(left) since childhood.

Question:
Is it possible to help the 20/35 eye, by wearing an eye patch on the
20/20 eye, for 2 or 3 hours each day?  Is it possible to hurt either
eye by wearing an eye patch for 2 or 3 hours each day?

I think anyone who tells you yes or no to this question would be
offering medical advice, which we are not permitted to do. I can
however give you a new solution to your problem. There is new
technology that does virtually the same thing that corrective surgery
does. This methods (done in the eye doctors office and then at home)
corrects your vision temporarily during the hours you are awake. I
know this sounds odd, but its similar to orthotics (braces on the
teeth) that "trains" the eye to do something it has never done before
without surgery of any kind. It is a non-invasive and painless therapy
that involves strengthening your "bad eye". If you are interested in
this as an options I'd be happy to provide it to you as an answer.

I don't have much time to write this up as I'm leaving for a wedding
in about 20 mins, but here's some resources I've found for ways that
"claim" to improve your eyesight without glasses/contacts/etc. All use
excercises and muscle training to refocus the eyes to better than
before (read: not perfect or anywhere near that, just better).
