Delamarter-ga,

I can tell you in what book the quote is found and give you source to
buy it online. Would that be an adequate answer?

Thanks

i'd much rather have a copy of the surrounding text, so that i can
understand it in context. perhaps the preceeding and proceeding
couple pages

Hi, from what I can find this is in a letter he wrote. Is that what
you expected? The text is not long for this letter (but there is other
text in the book which collects these letters). Is this progress?

Delamarter,

It appears that the letter in which your quote appears is not
available online. If you are accepting the information about where to
buy the book that contains the letter, you should ask bobbie7-ga to
post that as an answer, so that payment can be made to the researcher
who worked hard to find you the information.

Thank you bobbie7, I appreciate your work. However, I have that
information. I know where I can order it, etc. I would rather not
have to. The letter can't be so long that you can't just type it to
me, and recieve 4.50 for your efforts. The money is up for anybody
who can give me the letter, in its entirity, as I would like its
context and was hoping this was a way to circumvent the rigamorole of
online ordering. Everybody, thank you for your help, here's hoping
that one of you can get me the letter.
Thanks again
delamarter

In order to meet your request, Bobbie7-ga would have to purchase the
book herself, for $2.99. Since we only receive 75% of the offered fee,
her cut would be $3.38. That leaves her $0.39, and she hasn't paid for
shipping yet.

Even if this were cost-effective, she would then have to type the
letter into the Answer box and post it, which is a flagrant violation
of copyright laws and our Researcher contract.

In light of the legal issues, you may want to consider ordering the
book or looking for it at your local library.
