Thank you for your help regarding this matter. Would you be able to
provide a list of some sort that lists out the auctions by the
government, police, or banks which include homes, automobiles, and/or
planes? If the list is good expect a sizable tip.

Hello nggd,

Thank you for your question.

You will find a number of sites for foreclosure auctions as I have
detailed below, though many are fee based. I have omitted those that
*might* fall into the "get rich quick" genre of scams based on poor
website design, unbelievable sales pitches or other telltale
give-aways.

ForeclosureNet.net
http://www.foreclosurenet.net/index.asp?trackerid=375

This site offers a free 7 day trial of their service.

"If you want to find a comprehensive up to date list of foreclosed
properties in distress, this is the place. Our up to date listings
come from banks, government, and other free lists. We compile them and
offer them to you. Lists are regularly looked at so only the latest
more recent listings are here. In other words the are fresh.
Foreclosure.net (tm) is the place to find foreclosures, foreclosed
properties, foreclosure listings from, real estate offices, reo, hud,
va, irs, repos, fha, fdic, fannie mae, listings, bank repossessions,
government properties. With proper due diligence on your part you can
make money with these real estate investments whether they be
commercial realty, residential real estate, rental properties, income
producing realty. It's all here..."

NYSAuctions.com

You will find that some states have their official pages for
foreclosure land sales, such as this from Michigan:

Public Auction of Tax-Foreclosed Lands

Welcome to the Tax Reversion and Land Records Public Auction site.

State receives these parcels due to non-payment of property taxes. We
offer them at public land auctions, and issue quit claim deeds that
convey the State's interest in the property

And Profiles Publications covers New York:

ForeclosureWorld claims to be the best in all 50 states and ha a free
trial:
http://www.foreclosureworld.net/

As a matter of fact, they were featured in this New York Times
article:
http://www.foreclosuretown.com/nytarticle.htm

"..."Foreclosure World gathers lists of properties owned by thousands
of banks and other mortgage companies, sorts and compiles them into
state and county directories, then offers their lists to investors and
the public for a small fee," Mr. Einig said, adding that they are
neither brokers nor agents of the banks. "you can purchase
comprehensive directories from Foreclosure World or you can try
contacting individual banks. However, many will not deal directly with
the public and many also charge a fee for their lists. In any event,
the fees charged are limited to the cost of the directories, not any
commissions."

Wendy Tarantino, the general manager of Foreclosure World in Norwalk,
CT, said they company provides 12 updated monthly lists of foreclosed
properties in the customer’s state for $299, plus shipping and
handling..."

And Netscape rates Foreclosures.com highly:
http://www.foreclosureworld.net/

There were over 1,000 hits for this search:
"foreclosure auctions" +government OR police OR bank OR public
and you might wish to repeat it if the above listings do not satisfy
for your need for these listings. However, do be careful of suspicious
sites.

Searching a bit more for police auctions and aircraft to round out my
search for you I located the following:

big auction!"

The above appear to be the best of Police Auctions online.

Bid4Assets.com
http://www.bid4assets.com/

This site looks very intriguing.

"Bid4Assets is a leading online auction site where serious buyers and
sellers meet to find high-end assets such as land, cars, jewelry,
artwork, coins, timeshares, computers, inventory, financial
instruments, bankruptcy claims and more from government, non-profits
and private sellers..."

"police auctions" +online
airplane OR aircraft +auctions +online

I trust my research has provided you with a usable list of distressed
auction sites. If a link above should fail to work or anything require
further explanation or research, please do post a Request for
Clarification prior to rating the answer and closing the question and
I will be pleased to assist further.
