Hello dram27,

The only Olympic Pool Co. (or anything close) currently in Toledo,
Ohio has the phone number 419-893-4854.

"Olympic Pools, Inc."
1212 Conant Street , Maumee, OH 43537
(419)893-4854
SOURCE: http://www.sichondesign.com/portfolio/web/industry/luvinthetub/content/retail_i.html

After phoning this location, I was told that they had always been at
the Contant Street location, but that there had been another location
on Monro street which has since closed. They verified that they are
currently the only Olympic Pools in Toledo, Ohio.

In addition, I checked with directory assistance (419-555-1212) and
this is the only listing for either "Olympic Pool" or "Olympic Pools"
in Toledo, Ohio.

I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you require
any clarifications and I will do my best to further assist you.

What I'm looking for is whether this company is the original
manufactuer of Olympic Pools, an "on ground" style rectangle pool made
approximately 20 years ago?

Hello dram27,

I still do not have a conclusive answer, but it seems that the company
you are talking about is no longer in existance.

I have been told that the Olympic Pool company I referenced for you
has never changed location, but have not yet heard a definate answer
regarding this.

Have you tried contacting the company and checked if they have the
service/parts that you are needing? I am quite sure that it is the
only Olympic Pool Company in Toledo so it is probably the best, if not
only option you have at this point.

Perhaps I could track down something if you gave me the name name and
product number of the above ground Pool you are talking about? There
is really no way for me to check with the Conant Street location if
they are able to help you because I am not sure exactly what you have,
which is why I recommend that you call them.

I look forward to your response,

I am also looking for any information on the old olympic
pools....specifically the "ranger" model. It was manufactured in
1989. I am assuming they are no longer in business but does anyone
know where I can get parts for this model? Thanks.

I had absolutely no luck with the company in Ohio known as the Olympic
Pool Co.
I left messages and even wrote them a letter, all to no avail. I also
tried a couple of other sources I found on Google, but also received
no reply from them. I was able to find some luck with a local pool
store. They were able to order a new liner, coping and trim for my
particular Olympic pool. Although I must say it was quite costly. If I
can be of any help, let me know.

I have called them and also wrote a letter. I've been patiently
waiting for a response but I will assume, based on your experience,
that they are NOT going to get back to me. I found a liner at
http://www.poolsupplies.com/Product_PAGES/NewPages/RectangularPoolLiners.html
but I didn't order it because I was waiting to hear back from Olympic
because I also need coping strips and the corners.

I am located in Minnesota. I have checked with the local dealers in
my area and they were not able to help me. Does your local pool store
have a website or even a phone number? Can I ask how much you paid?
(Ours is a 12x24 with a flat bottom (48 in.

Thank you much for your reply.

I checked with my local pool store. They obtained the coping for my
pool from a company out of Saginaw, MI. I am located in Michigan so
the cost may be a little less for me. The name of the company is
Cinderella, Inc.,1215 Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI. 48801. Their phone
is 989-755-7741. They have a website, Cinderellainc.com. They tell me
that the particular coping for my pool is coping CP6. My pool was
completed about a week ago. It turned out very nice. The coping is
metal not plastic. It sounds like my pool is very similar to yours, it
is also a 12x24 with a flat bottom. I paid $1080.00 for the coping and
$430.00 for the liner. But to see the end results, it was well worth
it. I expect it to last another 20 years. Let me know how you make
out.
