Hello diana_ackerman,

My guess is that your website, http://www.thethreadbender.com does not
show up because it is still a fairly new website, or it has not yet
been submitted. Have you submitted the URL to Google yet?

You can submit your URL to Google at this address:

Another good way of getting listed on Google is to have a website that
is currently listed on Google (it is better if it is fairly high in
the listing) to link to your website. Perhaps you can find one or a
few high quality websites that would consider exchanging links with
you? Not only would you get listed, but you have a better chance of
appearing higher in the listing.

Here is the official word from Google on why your website may not be
listed: ://www.google.com/webmasters/2.html

See section A of that page for information if your website has NEVER
been listed on Google.

If your website was previously listed on Google, but for someone
reason you lost your listing, see section B of that page.

I hope this was the sort of answer you were expecting. Please let me
know if you require any clarifications to the answer given above.
Hopefully your website will be listed on Google soon!
