Is there any way to repair a sealed, AC voltmeter (panel)? It is from the 1930s and I would like to get it working again. The needle will not move when voltage is applied, otherwise it looks fine. | |

Tough search! I believe this page leads to the company, that looks to be still around : Enter 50309 in the Cage Code Area http://www.gidm.dlis.dla.mil/bincs/choose.asp I was unable to locate any parts, cross reference parts, or a website. In most cases we would typically replace the voltmeter. If the meter has an external input protection circuitry, you may want to start with that. You can also be *bold* and try to force your way into the meter. Most meter protection circuits are merely diodes and resistors, and when damaged, can usually be found via a visual inspection. I wish I could have been more help, and will keep my eyes open as I search around in a few more places. SgtCory |
