Hello Kenny:

You should have received a letter from the IRS by July 2001 whether or
not you would be receiving a rebate check and if you would be
receiving a check, the amount you would be getting.

The amount was for UP TO $600, depending on the amount of income on
your 2000 return.

About Com's tax planning page explains criteria for the rebate and how
to figure if you were to receive one.

If you feel you were due a rebate check, you can contact the IRS on
their toll free number at 1-800-829-1040.
