Hello Kenny: You should have received a letter from the IRS by July 2001 whether or not you would be receiving a rebate check and if you would be receiving a check, the amount you would be getting. The amount was for UP TO $600, depending on the amount of income on your 2000 return. About Com's tax planning page explains criteria for the rebate and how to figure if you were to receive one. - http://taxes.about.com/library/weekly/aa060301a.htm If you feel you were due a rebate check, you can contact the IRS on their toll free number at 1-800-829-1040.
