Question ID: 213462
I reinstalled MS Office recently, and when I go to use it I get the
following errors:

Your Microsoft Access database or project contains a missing or broken
reference to the file "webpub.exe" version 1
* To ensure that your database or project works properly, you must fix
this reference*
When I go to find a list of the references, I get the following error
message:
Required registry information is missing and this application cannot
run. Please rerun set up again.

I have removed and reinstalled Office again without avail.

Please advise how I can fix this problem. I am using visual Basic in
Access.

Ratan,

I did a search for discussions of the problem you note and am posting
these links in hopes that they can help solve your problem.

Microsoft support seems to describe the initial error message you
reported at this web page:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=283806

However, it sounds like you already tried doing what they recommend
and got a second error message. I found the following two pages that
discuss such an error message; hopefully one or the other will help:

http://cii2k.dns2go.com/casewizard/kb/kb00004.html

http://2fix.bvu.edu/help/apps/office/92.ASP

Good luck,

RMH
