Hi,
I am looking for an sdsl router that can also host a backup
connection. Netopia use to make the 7220 router but does not make it
anymore. So I would like to find a router that can preferably modular
unit that can utilize a analog or dsl or analog or isdn connection.
Analog is fairly slow so I do not wish to have analog but only as a
last resort. Our ISP supports netopia line of routers/signaling so it
should be compatable with that ISP's Dslam. I am not a DSL geek so I'm
not sure what I would need it terms of router standardization

Hi,

Thanks for your question.
How many ethernet ports do you want on the router?
Do you want to be able to connect the router to an external ISDN
terminal adapter (ISDN modem) with a serial connection, or do you want
the router to have an integrated ISDN terminal adapter?

Thanks.
endo

Hi,

We need dsl router to have one ethernet connection for a pix firewall.
the isdn port should be internal U-interface.

The firewall can have an additional ethernet nic but only one default
gateway will be allowed in the routing table of the firewall
