There is something wrong with the map used by the researcher. As someone who lived in South Florida for 21 years and drove between Miami and West Palm Beach on a frequent basis, I can say for sure that the distance between the 2 cities is significantly less than 100 miles. |

Also there are _a lot_ of other cities in the 100 mile radius than the cities listed in the answer. |

In the clarified answer, researcher confused county / city list. Everything in the list is a county, except for Miami which is a city. Forgotten was Dade County (one of the largest in Florida in population). |
