I recently purchased a pinball ball machine (300+ lbs.) located near LA. I live in Seattle Wa. The owner is unable to help me move the machine in any way. I need to find a dependable, resonable service who can go to this persons house, pick up the machine, safely pack and palletize it and either deliver it to a freight company such as Pilot Air or ship themselves. I know these people are out there. Where can they be and how do I get a hold of one? | |

prescriptions-ga, You might want to ask on Usenet, at the rec.games.pinball newsgroup. A friend of mine who sells and buys a lot of pinball machines didn't know of a service that would pick up and pack your machine, but she did suggest that the people at rec.games.pinball might be able to help. It's a very active and helpful newsgroup. I'm sorry that I couldn't find a packing service for you, though. Good luck! -vorfeed_ga |

Hi... Call American Games and ask them, they *might* know. They have a store in Bellevue now, in addition to their store in Belltown... ~~Cynthia |

prescriptions... Con-Way Trucking: https://www.con-way.com/default.asp?bhcp=1 ...has a Western states company, Con-Way Western Express (CWX): http://www.con-way.com/aboutcts/cwx.html ...which is highly recommended by members of the rec.games.pinball newsgroup: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&frame=right&th=4fff4cdeb7d78c3b&seekm=%25Cdu6.112%247b.102181%40nnrp2.sbc.net#s ...for shipping pinball machines. From browsing the Con-Way website, I was unable to determine if they include the service of going to your seller's home and packing the machine from scratch, so I'm posting this as a comment, pending your approval as an answer. You will need to contact them for a specific quote, anyway.
