Hi total_respect_4_you-ga. When you say ideas is it for a gift, party,
etc. Will the giver be a child or an adult? Plus would you accept
ideas we could find on the internet? Just let me know. :)

Clarification of Question by total_respect_4_you-ga on 06 Jun 2003 00:53 PDT
TY for Response , and am glad u asked for clarification.., it is
indeed a good sign..,

I am in my early 30's.

    It will be from me..

It will be something other than a " thing , or gift "
that can be purchased of the shelf..

It will represent how much I Love My Father.

It will quite possibley be something I do...,
something I make.., ( not very skillfull in this area )
something that comes from the Heart.

..., oh Yah.. Can it come from the Internet ???

.. Indeed, where it comes from is not so very
                        Important to me.., what is...
is that it is Unique.., Caring ,
                        Loving and Symbolizes my Respect
                        for My FATHER.

   TY so Very Much.

           John.

Hi! Thanks for the question.

I will try to answer as best as I can based on the info I collected
from you. Please take into consideration that this is a very
subjective answer so I do hope you like my suggestions.

My first two suggestions will touch on memories you've spent as father
and child so it will have something to do with baseball and camping.

Our first link is my best suggestion for you on what to give your dad
this coming Father's Day. You said he knows and loves his baseball so
why not give him a Baseball Day on Father's Day! Here is a link to an
article on how to do it.

"Dad Loves Baseball - A Father's Day Celebration for Him"
http://entertaining.about.com/library/weekly/aa061101b.htm

You may also try camping out instead (and maybe take along all his
friends) to relive the good old days.

"Camper's Cookbook"

Our next links pertains to crafts you can make that has something to
do with computers.

Other crafts and home made gifts you can make are listed here.

I don't know if your father already uses this but since he loves
sending email, he might want to try Incredimail. My brother has it and
he sends creative emails with it. It's free for you to download.

Hello EasterAngel..,

I appreciate your questions and your efforts..,
however.., after viewing all the links, I didnt
really see anything that would make this a Fathers
   Day to Remember..,

I was thinking more along the lines of..

               hmmm, i dunno ; something
               sentinmental.., like maybe
( off the top of my head )

.. writing a letter to Him, as if the Year were 1976
and i was 10 yrs old.., and saying " Looking forward
to our Car Race Today Dad.. , thanks for helping me
build it.. " Love your 10 yr old son..,

I understand and agree , this a quite a Subjective
       Request..,

I REALLY want to Give YOU the HIGHEST RATING POSSIBLE..,

so how bout if you can possibly find some Sentimental Sites.,
Sources, Links and / or Ideas.., I Will be Happy to
Award you with HIGHEST RATING Possible..,

If you are Able, i would like to Thank You VERY Much in Advance..,

      If not.., I understand.

   Respectfully,

        John..

p.s. I will leave Rating for you in a timely
manner.., as I believe this is Important
          for the Researchers..

Hi again total_respect_4_you-ga! Thanks very much for asking a
clarification before provifing a rating.

When I took on this project I knew it would be a risky one but I like
the concept so much that it was worth it.

If you want sentimental here is a personal idea of mine. Why not make
a photo album of the pictures just between you and dad. All the
pictures you have wherein the only ones there will be you and your
father. You can make it in a hardbound album or an electronic one.

If you want an electronic one maybe you may want to try the Flip Album
software. I have tried this before and it works great. You can even
add music to it. It flips like an ordinary album as well with a click
of the mouse!

FlipAlbum

My next suggestion was taken from an online shop but maybe you can
make something like this. A framed graphic of your family tree.

Birthstone Family Tree
http://www.birthstonetree.com/

My next links meanwhile wiil compose of articles, poems, letters you
can use to get an idea of what you may want to use for a memomarable
father's day.

"Father's Day Gifts, from a Day Off to a Day at the Races"
http://www.parenthood.com/articles.html?article_id=2272

"Fathers Day Quotes and Poems"
http://www.infinityquest.net/father_and_grandfather_day.html

"Dani's Happy Father's Day"
http://members.aol.com/dthomp3907/father.html

"Counting The Cost"
http://www.countingthecost.com/fathersday.htm

These are the things I have to offer and I hope you like them.

Yes you are very correct ratings are very important to us since it is
one way to gauge our abilities as researchers. Thanks for being a
concerned customer as regards to this matter. We researchers really
appreciate that.

:)

Best Regards,
Easterangel-ga
