I received an answer from the current contact for Junior Walker's
band. The response listed members of his original band and his
producer, but not anyone else. Would a listing of these specific
attendees be a sufficient answer?

This note came from the reference librarian in Battle Creek's public library:

"There are several indexed articles pertaining to the death of Junior
Walker. These include his obits and an account of his funeral.
Unfortunately, none of them reveal the answer to your question. No
celebrity attendees are mentioned, aside from a promoter,
Johnny Bristol.

Local & Family History Librarian"

Fil800 --

The original members of his band were:
*  Willie Woods, guitar
*  Vic Thomas, keyboard
*  James Graves, drummer

His son, Autry DeWalt III had also played with him.

I'm certain that Woods and his son were there but let me check again
with the reference librarian to see who else was present. In the
meantime, you may find this article from the Battle Creek Enquirer
interesting:

This answer is probably going to require a researcher with access to
microfilm or other archives of the Battle Creek Enquirer newspaper:
http://www.battlecreekenquirer.com/

Often major libraries in the state of Michigan have microfilm.

Junior Walker's death of cancer at age 53 was widely reported but news
of the funeral was not. The Perry Mortuary in Battle Creek handled
the funeral and would be a potential contact too.

Who else would know who was at the funeral? Walker was born Autry
DeWalt Jr. and his sone, Autry DeWalt III played with him during the
1980s and 1990s:

Other members of the All Stars were guitarist Willie Woods, a
long-time friend; Vic Thomas (keyboards); and James Graves (drummer).
