Hi al_hgs:

There are many options available for online file storage and
retrieval. The following are a few that promise fast speed and have
options for *large* files. I've put the ones I feel are most promising
first.

hotdrive
URL: http://www.hotdrive.com/

Stramload
URL: http://www.streamload.com/

Xdrive
URL: http://www.xdrive.com/

CryptoHeaven
URL: http://www.cryptoheaven.com/online-storage.htm?source=findwhat&q=online+storage

Let me know if this is the sort of thing you were looking for, al_hgs.
If not, please provide me with more details.

Thanks. A pleasure working with you again.

Hi al_hgs:

Thanks for the clarification request.

If you click on the "Features" button on the hotdrive homepage, you
get a window with some interesting facts. The reasons I put hotdrive
at the top of the list were:

* They had an email-with-large-attachments feature. I thought this
might be useful for sharing large files with your friend (and save a
few steps).

* They had a "transfer allowance" of 5x the account size. I think this
means that you could send large files to friends without having to
have a "large-limit" account. Thought this might save you $$$$.

* hotdrive seemed more of a non-commercial solution, so I thought it
might be simpler to use and administer than the more "corporate"
products.

Of course, this all assumes I understand your requirements completely.
I may not! :-) Only *you* know what *you* need. I tried to find you a
spectrum of options so that you could pick the one most useful to you.

Hope this helps.

Why not just make the big file available through Kazaalite. Its quick and easy.
Give it a weird name if you do not want anyone else to find the find.
