Hello.

I am doing a little personal research just because I am curious. There
are some questions below that I would like comments on and a formal
"answer" is not neceassary. I understand that these questions are
extremely personal in nature and that no one likes to talk about this.
Keep in mind that although this could be sexual in nature, it is not
my intention of the study. If you answer these questions because it
illicits a sexual response, I would like to know that as well. Both
women and men could answer these questions if they wish (in fact I
would prefer it). Thanks for the input, and remember that the answers
that you give here will be strictly confedential and will not be
shared outside of Google Answers.

THE QUESTIONS: (Please answer each one the best you can)

1. Do you wear snug (tight) fitting jeans?
2. When wearing them, do you feel a pressure on the genitals or around
that area?
3. On a scale of 1-10, how intense is the pressure?
4. Do you find this pressure comfortable/Uncomfortable?
5. If you do indeed feel the pressure, it is something that you feel
all the time when wearing jeans, or does it disappear after a time?
6. How do you handle (or what do you think of) the pressure you feel;
Does it annoy you, is it totally overwhelming, or do you ignore it?
7. Do you find that the feeling of the pressure changes in the
following cases: sleeping in jeans, wearing boxers to underwear or
wearing nothing underneath your jeans, wearing jeans that are not so
tight such as loose fitting or baggy, is there a difference between
wearing jeans and jean shorts?
8. In a short paragraph, tell me why you do/don't wear jeans and how
long you've been wearing them. Also, let me know how often you wear
them.

Thanks for being honest, and I totally understand if you refuse to
answer any of the previous questions (which you are free to do).

Dear Scoobydoaz -

Thanks for your question.
Since this is a more-or-less anonymous forum, it's actually a
wonderful place to conduct such surveys - just be aware that the
researcher population is not necessarily representative of anything...

1. Do you wear snug (tight) fitting jeans?

Sometimes, not often

2. When wearing them, do you feel a pressure on the genitals or around
that area?

Yes

3. On a scale of 1-10, how intense is the pressure?

4-5

4. Do you find this pressure comfortable/Uncomfortable?

Usually don't mind, sometimes and in certain positions/maneuvers can
become uncomfortable

5. If you do indeed feel the pressure, it is something that you feel
all the time when wearing jeans, or does it disappear after a time?

As above in (4).

6. How do you handle (or what do you think of) the pressure you feel;
Does it annoy you, is it totally overwhelming, or do you ignore it?

Typically ignore it.

7. Do you find that the feeling of the pressure changes in the
following cases: ?

sleeping in jeans - no discernible difference
wearing boxers to underwear - huh?
wearing nothing underneath your jeans - much more pleasant but I
rarely do this...
wearing jeans that are not so tight such as loose fitting or baggy -
loose-fitting is the type I usually wear, much more comfortable
is there a difference between wearing jeans and jean shorts - yes,
shorts tend to be more comfortable

8. In a short paragraph, tell me why you do/don't wear jeans and how
long you've been wearing them. Also, let me know how often you wear
them.

I've been wearing jeans for about 30 years - I wear them because
they're versatile and comfortable, easy to match to other articles of
clothing, inexpensive and "cool..." How often? About 50% of the
time.

Let me know if you need any clarification of my responses.

thanks,
ragingacademic

wearing boxers to underwear - huh? (Do you notice a difference when
wearing boxers instead of underwear, etc.?)

Hmmm...

4. Do you find this pressure comfortable/Uncomfortable?

Usually don't mind, sometimes and in certain positions/maneuvers can
become uncomfortable (Such as?)

Such as climbing over a fence, walking up steps, sitting in a tight space.

5. If you do indeed feel the pressure, it is something that you feel
all the time when wearing jeans, or does it disappear after a time?

As above in (4). (What I am asking here is: Do you feel the pressure
all day, ot do you get used to it to where you don't feel it anymore?)

As long as I am in one of the above positions etc. it does not go away.

wearing boxers to underwear - huh? (Do you notice a difference when
wearing boxers instead of underwear, etc.?)

Do not wear boxers. Don't understand people who do... ;-)
thanks,

By the way, I don't wear jeans because I prefer dress pants for work
and church and cotton/poly blends for casual wear; either is more
comfortable than jeans. In my opinion, whoever dreamed of making
clothes out of denim was a masochist (no sexual connotation intended).

1. Do you wear snug (tight) fitting jeans?

No, I prefer loose. Tight just isn't healthy.

Hey Scooby, I'm doing a bit of research myself.
Tell me this are you male or female (or AC/DC)??
Is your age range under 20, over 20 but under 40 or over 40??
That was quite some question you posed!

ps I'm a closet nudist! True!!
Soon as I get home just get the ol jeans right off.
Can/t help myself. Just love the freedom.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add, a reason to prefer baggy jeans over slacks
or khakis are that they never nead ironing and you can wear t-shirts
with them.

And sneakers, or really any other kind of shoe for that matter.
