My friend has had unprotected sex with a male who has herpes. His current girlfriend is infected. He is seeking no treatment. I think my friend should go to be tested. She says it is unncecessary because she did not notice any lesions. Is this true? She claims to have called a clinic and they stated that they will only test if she has a lesion. I find this hard to believe. My friend is currently active with another male. |

i would advise you to encourage your friend to call another clinic or perhaps a doctor, it is much better to know if youre infected than to not know so you dont infect others. explain this it is a serious matter that is not to be overlooked. although herpes isn't all that lifechanging it should be managed and taken care of. even if there are no symtoms she can still infect others |
