How many Umrah trips are made by Saudi Arabians each year?

It is known that around 2.3 million trips are made by foreigners to
Mecca each year to perform Umrah. However, I would like to know how
many trips are made by Saudis.

Please note I am referring to the number of trips here...so if one
Saudi man performs Umrah three times, that is three trips.

A rough figure (to the nearest million) would be fine. It doesn't
matter if it is for 1998, 2000, 2002 etc. The important thing is: are
we talking about 4 million, 10 million or 20 million, etc?

References to the sources of the data would be useful.
