In short, are the Seattle Mariners baseball games broadcast in HDTV?
More specifically, how many games during the current baseball season
have been/are slated for an HDTV broadcast?

There may be several caveats to this question, which could complicate
the answer some. First, the Mariners are broadcast on a few different
networks, which may play a factor. Second, I will be watching the
Mariners on Comcast cable in Seattle, WA and Cox Cable TV in Sun
Valley, ID, which may play a factor. Third, it is possible that at
this point in the transition to HDTV, only some of the games are
broadcast in HDTV just for the networks' internal purposes. Other
factors may exist, although I wouldn't know exactly what. In the end
I'd like to know how many games out of the regular season I can count
on seeing the Mariners in HDTV.

Being a Seattle native, I called The Mariners at (206) 346-4001 and
spoke to Dion there, he gave me most of the upcoming schedule.

Comcast and Fox Sports will be showing various Mariner games in HDTV
on channel #100. These are the games that will be shown, there are
none before June 11th:

June 11 vs Expos
June 12 vs Expos
June 13 vs Braves
June 28 vs Padres
June 29 vs Padres
July 9 vs Orioles
July 10 vs Orioles
July 11 vs Devil Rays
July 13 vs Devil Rays
July 24 vs A's
July 27 vs Rangers

There are 8 more games in August and September, for a total of 19
games to be Broadcast in HDTV.
