Hello mongolia,

I have not found any euro coins produced in platinum. The following 10
countries have issued euro coins in gold and silver:

1. Germany:

“Germany has issued gold 200 & 100 Euro coins to commemorate the
transition to the monetary union and introduction of the euro. We
believe this was the first gold commemorative Euro coin.
One Ounce & Half Ounce Versions
There will be a one ounce coin with a face value of 200 Euros, and a
half ounce coin with a denomination of 100 Euros. They will both be
struck in fine gold (99.99% pure). The issue limit will be 500,000 for
the smaller coin, and 100,000 for the larger one.”
Issue date was 9 May, 2002

fitting for the last coin in this gold series to be dedicated to the
“greatest of the virtues”.

the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem (2000), the Bible (2001) and the
spread of Christianity, and the contributions of the Christian
religious orders to our world (2002). It has been a series that has

A curiosity in silver and niobium:
“2003 - 700 Years Hall in Tyrol The first Austrian commemorative coin
for 2003 displays several special features for the first time. It is
the first coin to bear a face value of 25 Euro. It is the first time
the metal niobium has been used in coinage, and it is the first
Austrian coin coloured blue.
The new 25 Euro coin is a bi-metal coin with a silver ring and a
centre made of niobium. This metal, or rather element, was discovered
in 1801 and was originally called “Columbium”. It is increasingly
employed in astronautics. With special treatment the surface layers of
niobium can be made to change colour. In the case of the present coin,
the central niobium pill is blue.”
