Dear
I am looking for a source which will provide me with the following specific
information.
- A list of all embassies and Consulates around the world.
- The name of the Ambassador/consulate general for each embassy /Consulate
- The address, telephone number, Fax Number, e-mail address, and where it
applies the web site.
- If embassy /consulate does not exist for particular country, embassy
which looks after affairs of country.
- For each embassy/consulate visiting regulations for people of embassy
country to host country.
PLEASE NOTE I do not wish Google Answers to provide me with the specific
information above. I am simply looking for a source. A web
site would be ideal. However somewhere where I could obtain a hard
copy (Embassey Directory) or transmittable file would also
suffice. What is more important is that the source is complete
in terms of what I have asked above. I do not expect it to be
completely up to date but should contain all relevant entries for
up to at least 6 weeks ago.
Apologies for a somewhat long winded question. If you need
clarification ,Please get back to me.
Regards
Mongolia | |

RESEARCHERS: FYI The was removed earlier as it did not satisfy the question: Dear mongolia-ga; Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting question. These databases appear to provide the information you are seeking and consist of many, many pages on information. By following the deeper links you can find the addresses, telephone numbers, web sites (if applicable) and much more for each of the embassies and consulates listed: Directory & Search Engine Of The World's Embassies & Consulates http://www.escapeartist.com/embassy1/embassy1.htm This database also provides these links: Permanent United Nations missions of the world- Missions to the United Nations http://www.embassyworld.com/embassy/un.htm Listings For United States Diplomatic Missions - U.S. Diplomatic Missions http://www.embassyworld.com/embassy/usmissions.htm Similarly, the US Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs also provides an embassy and consulate list; presumably as complete and up-to-date as such a list could presently be: U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Consular Affairs http://travel.state.gov/links.html Below you will find that I have carefully defined my search strategy for you in the event that you need to search for more information. By following the same type of searches that I did you may be able to enhance the research I have provided even further. I hope you find that that my research exceeds your expectations. If you have any questions about my research please post a clarification request prior to rating the answer. Otherwise, I welcome your rating and your final comments and I look forward to working with you again in the near future. Thank you for bringing your question to us.
