I have found a huge list of Canadian bands covering all the provinces,
some of which are now no longer around. Is there ANYTHING else you can
remember about the band? Do you have any idea of what the name might
have resembled?

Alternatively, I have found another database which includes 1,200
Canadian contemporary music artists from the 1950s to the present.
Would you be interested in something like this for an answer, possibly
by formulating a question at a lesser price if you cannot remember
anything else about the band?

You may want to investigat the lavoie's in London, Ontario, Canada.
Paulamay's Mother's name is Teresa Thomas. She has two brothers by
the names of Andy, and Real Lavoie. They are both dead now, but have
many relatives still around London. The last I heard, Paulamay's
mother she was living in Mattawa, Ontario, Canada, but is not likely
still living. To get paid you must answer correctly all questions.
If I remember the name of the band I will add it to my listing. The
most important part of this question is who was the drummer and where
was he from? Even better, where is he now?

I had already looked up the last name Lavoie in London, Ontario in my
initial search. There are 22 of them. All of the calls would be long
distance to me so that is out of the question. Have you, by any
chance, tried calling them yourself?
There is also no listing for Teresa Thomas in Mattawa so I presume you
are correct. She is either deceased or has moved.
Do you have ANY more significant information about this band that you
can think of?

I have located her brother Claude Lavoie in Mattawa (705-744-0024),
and will call him to see if he remebers the band. Alternatively you
could e-mail me the list of band names who played Country and Western
music in Deep River, Ontario, Canada, in 62 and 63 and I will review
the list and let you know if any jog my memorie as I was told once and
I have since forgoten. The is the best way to get to the most
important part of my question answered.

The bands listed on this link span the last several decades, including
some from the sixties. Rather than going through each link to find out
what decade they are from, and whether there is member information
included, why don't you scroll through the alphabet and see if a name
jogs your memory!
