I would like to get an estimate of how much office space (in square
feet or square metres) is refurbished or newly completed each year in
the US and Europe. I don't mean tiny individual offices, I mean space
in significant office buildings. On refurbishment, I mean major work
eg that might well mean that people vacate the building while the work
is done, not minor decorating etc. If you do give numbers, please be
as clear as possible about the basis of the numbers. Please separate
numbers for new buildig completions from numbers for refurbishments.
Ideally the numbers would be in floor area (sq ft or sq m) completed
per year for an identified region, in a particular year eg for 2002 or
a forecast for 2003.
Any supplemental information eg break downs by states or countries in
Europe, or details of good sources or websites for me to look at would
also be welcome.
Thank you
