Could you give some more details on what you're looking for? For
instance, what, precisely, do you mean by "required to serve in the
economic system"? What information do you require about health
professionals' roles? Do you need material that is applicable to any
particular nation?

The more you can tell us, the better we will be able to serve you.

I will assume 'required to serve' means work as I can think of no
requirement in the USA other than in the military. Perhaps you are
intrested in some other country?
Most USA health professionals do work in the ecconomic system of the
USA. The ecconomic system in general is not defined and individuals
can do as they please within broad limits defined by the AMA =
American Medical Association, Ambigous laws, court decisions and
crooked lawyers. Typically a health professional specilizes in several
ailments, disabilities and proceedures. Others are quite general and
concerned with a broad range of health issues and related
administrative funtions. ie My wife works for the State of Florida in
CME = continuing medical education. She assists doctors, drug reps and
other administrators in getting training classes schedualed and checks
that details are in order especially that the persons attending are
loged in and get credit for attending the training. There must be at
least 10,000 distintive job descriptions in the USA health care
ecconomy so we can not even give you a good overview unless you can
narrow the scope of your interests. Neil
