I'm looking for an animated, hand-drawn cartoon I received in an email once, entitled, "Why men don't talk to women." The cartoonist thanked his "good friend, caffeine" in the final frame. I'm sure it must be out there... | |

Sunflower33-ga: You're actually thinking of a short done by Don Hertzfeldt titled 'Ah, L'Amour.' Mr. Hertzfeldt (I think, but the site is currently down till July) should have the 'Ah, L'Amour' clip available on DVD. He's also come out with quite a few other offbeat animation bits, and won quite a bit of awards for them. You can find, and should be able to buy his works here http://www.bitterfilms.com/lamour.html?source=filmmakers.com . At the end of 'Ah L'Amour' as you remembered, Mr. Hertzfeldt thanks his 'Good Friend Caffeine'. Good stuff. You can find a copy of the actual short here: http://www.connecticut-business.com/funstuff/images/lamour.asf I love his work. I've seen most of his shorts entirely too many times to count, and I seriously reccomend them to anyone with a sense of humor. 'Rejected' is my personal fav, so for an added bonus, I include a link: http://purplecow.com/weird/videos/Rejected.avi Hope you enjoy them! Bitmaven-ga Search Strategy: For Ah L'Amour: lamour.asf or ahlamour.asf For Rejected: rejected.avi in google. |

Looked for a bit but could not find. My hunch was that it was Too Much Coffee Man (http://www.tmcm.com/).They have archives but they are not title but numbered. Good luck! -shiva777 |
