Amanda,

If you're looking for a tutor for your cosmetology test, it would help
if we knew approximately where you live (just what nation and what
state or province).

Are you hoping to find someone who can tutor you in person, or do you
want assistance over the Internet?

The more you can tell us about exactly what you need, the better we
can help.

Amanda,

If you are truly learning disabled in reading and writing, your school
should help you with your written exams.

For example, I know people who are dyslexic, and they have a person
who reads the exam to them.

All colleges and vocational schools have a person assigned to provide
services to students with disabilities. The office is probably called
"disability services," or something similar. Or, they may just be a
person who is called the Disability Services Coordinator.

You should check with your school counselor or student affairs center
and see if you can get help from them. If you can do the job and you
know your material, you should not fail your exams because of a
learning disability.

Good luck to you --

-K~

If the school you attend recieves federal funding, then this might be
of interest to you...
"Colleges and universities are required to provide students with
appropriate academic adjustments and auxiliary aids and services that
are necessary to afford an individual with a disability an equal
opportunity to participate in the school's program. Examples of
auxiliary aids that may be required are taped texts, notetakers,
interpreters, readers, and specialized computer equipment."
