Provide a list of three "squeaker" elections in Canada -- provincial
or federal -- where the margin of election was very, very close.
Ideally, one would include the closest in Canadian history. Also
provide some short background on the issues at stake and why the vote
was so close. They can be as far back as you like.

Note: The site below has a list of Canadian election results. You'd
likely get the info from here. Would still need some short background
(3-5 sentences) about the issues. Something like: "That election
hinged on the issue of dog tags. Most voters didn't want them. But the
government insisted. The government lost."
