It seems this site is advertising selling DVDs but not selling them...
http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/movie/category/514/a/Childcare%2FParenting.htm
I have done quite a bit of additional research for you. Spent just
about the entire afternoon actually, because this is a tough one.
I wanted to let you know I'm working on compiling a list for you,
however. I have some calls into people and am waiting for them to call
back.

I found a video starring Detective Bill Davis of the Beaumont, TX,
Police Department, discussing various child safety issues. The link is
http://www.takingcareofchildren.com/VIDEO.HTM
Then I located the phone number for the Beaumont Police Department,
(409)880-3800, and gave them a call. They told me that they have
copies of their child safety video, which includes many of the
subjects you're looking for, on DVD.
I also found a DVD called "Bear Aware Safety," if you're interested.
The link is http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005MEMX/qid=1055358569/sr=1-4/ref=sr_1_4/104-0686508-4542338?v=glance&s=dvd#product-details
I'll let you know as I find more.

It does seem surprisingly challenging to find a child safety DVD and I
appreciate your efforts so far and your offer to attempt to continue
to identify a match. I have yet to find anything on my own.

Henry--
This was a good question! I understand why you decided to put a Google
Researcher to work!
I have found some DVD options for you along the lines of child safety
videos. But I'll tell ya... it's slim pickins' out there. I am quite
surprised.
First, I found a video called "Heartsaver First Aid." It comes on DVD
and was just released in January. It's available through the Alabama
Hospital Association. You may reach them at:
500 North East Blvd.
Montgomery, AL 36117
Phone: (334) 272-8781
Fax: (334) 270-9527
And you need to tell them you're looking for DVD Number 70-2589.
You may visit their web site online. The link is http://www.alaha.org/
I found another CPR DVD available from GuidanceAssistance.com. It's a
63-minute movie, released in 2002, called "First Aid & CPR." You may
read about or order this video online. The link is
http://www.guidanceassociates.com/firstaidcpr.html
I searched GuidanceAssistance.com to find some other DVDs that you may
find of interest:
A DVD called "Dealing with social anxiety" for children is available
online. The link is http://store.yahoo.com/guidanceassociates/dealwitsocan.html
A DVD called "How to build self esteem" is also available at that
site. The link is http://store.yahoo.com/guidanceassociates/howtobuilsel.html
A student DVD called "Prescription drug abuse" is on the site, as
well. The link is http://store.yahoo.com/guidanceassociates/presdrugab.html
A DVD called "Gossiping, Harassing, Bullying" is available for sale on
the site. The link is
http://store.yahoo.com/guidanceassociates/studworgosta.html
An instructional DVD called "CPR Review" is available online by Genie
Guide. It's a brand new DVD and is less expensive than some of the
others listed above. The link is http://www.genieguide.com/cpr.html
I found several water safety DVDs at the National Swim School
Association web site. They are affordably priced. You may read about
them and purchase them online. The link is
http://www.mredswim.com/video.html
"Protect Your Family" is a complete step-by-step instructional DVD/VHS
for detecting an attack, giving first aid, purchasing and using
protective gear and creating an effective shelter in your home and
workplace. With the growing threats facing America today, every home
should have one. You may purchase this DVD online. The link is

"Baby Neptune Discovering Water" introduces youngsters to water and
the world around them. The link to this video is
http://www.beststuff.com/article.php3?story_id=5241
"Elmo Visits The Firehouse" is now available on DVD. "After a fire on
Sesame Street, Maria takes a frightened Elmo to visit a real New York
City firehouse, where his fears are calmed by learning fire safety and
prevention tips. Includes a special "Elmo's World" segment that will
instruct your little ones on what to do in the event of a fire." This
DVD is quite affordable. The link is

unfortunately none of the DVDs above are the general child safety type
that I am looking for. I have a call in to Bill Davis but I am
skeptical it will be what I need. Can you please take another look.
You are coming close but not quite there. Thanks.
