Please find me an exercise heart rate monitor (pulsemeter) that
allows:
- continuous pulse measurement
- from a wristwatch device, which doubles as an actual wristwatch
- without a chest strap
(All the Polar products seem to require this)
- without having to place my fingers on the device
(the MIO and Lattitude products are strapless but requre fingers
placed)
- which can be purchased from the Internet (please point me to the
site)
The reason I have these requirements, is because I want to use this
device for biofeedback (so I can how different day-to-day stressful
situations affect my pulse rate, and learn to reduce it), so it has to
be unobtrusive, stylish, and comfortable to wear all day.
Thanks, happy searching! |

Two clarifications:
- has to be stylish or at least not frighteningly dorky
- has to have backlight

This device isnt explicitly identified as cheststrapless, so I dont
know if it meets the criteria. If you can find more information about
the device, or email them for clarification, perhaps it will meet the
criteria.
Happy hunting!

Re: dougrun-ga's potential answer:

Thanks for the suggestion.
This one appears to have finger pads on the top and bottom of the
watch, so to see your pulse you have to place two fingers on it for a
minute.
As I mentioned in the criteria, I want _continuous_ pulse measurement,
without having to place my fingers on the device.
When you have doubts about the device, please email the seller for
clarification. Thanks!
Sorry its so hard to find.

I wrote to the vendors of the Cool Sports Equipment wristwatch type
device that I mentioned earlier, and unfortunately it does come with
cheststaps. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/csskiequipment/autpul.html
