Hi,

I'm looking for a solution for my business. We pass invoices by
stamping them and filling them out manually. I'm looking for a method
for scanning them and adding an electronic version of this stamp that
the users can fill out.

I've looked at adobe PDF as a method for achiving this but the reader
does not support saving the forms that are on the PDF. It needs a copy
of acrobat standard or professional to be installed on each of the
clients. This is too expensive to implement.

I need a low cost solution that is user friendly, ie looks like they
are filling out the paper copy of the form. Any help is appreciated.

Dave

The software described here creates PDF files and is much less
expensive than Adobe Acrobat. In fact, an ad-supported version of it
is free.

I checked that application out. It does'nt seem to have very powerfull
editing features, you can add a short text stamp to the pdf but it is
only to a pdf that the user has printed themselves. The users will
probably get the invoices sent buy email and will have been scanned by
someone else.
