Will you locate a person named Carlos Taylor? He and I were in the Navy together and have parted ways and it would be great to be able to talk to him again. He is originally from Malibu, Ca but has been stationed in San Diego, Ca and possibly moved to the East Coast for duty. It's possible that he is out of the service now. I am having a very hard time locating him. |

While Google Answers Researchers are not permitted to provide contact information for private individuals. We can, however, point you to the resources to let you find this information on your own. Here are a few things you can try You can enter your friends name in the "buddy finder" at Military.com (I did this and it turned up 2 Navy entries for Carlos Taylor) http://www.military.com/Military/Locator/New/Results If neither of these are your buddy you could try this advice from the Department Of The Navy -- Naval Historical Center http://www.history.navy.mil/faqs/faq13-1.htm under Government Sources: "The Armed Forces World-Wide locators will forward letters to former members of the Navy, receiving retirement pay for active duty or reserve service. For this assistance, one should place their letter in a stamped envelope with just the name of the retired serviceman on the front and with no return address to: Navy Reserve Personnel Center, 4400 Dauphin Street, New Orleans, LA 70149" If all else fails you could try Richard S. Johnson's book "How to Locate Anyone Who Is or Has Been in the Military: Armed Forces Locator Guide" ($16.07) by going to http://www.amazon.com and entering Richard S. Johnson in the search box. It has a 5 star Customer Rating and the Customer Reviews are excellent. Hope this helps and Good Luck on your search |

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you find your friend. This type of question often ends in disappointment when the customer is unable to locate the person they seek. I am so happy that this was not the case in this instance :o) |
